Focused Treatment. Meaningful Change.

Unlike traditional weekly therapy, the Individual DBT Weekend Intensive provides dedicated time to explore your challenges, practice new responses, and develop a personalized plan for moving forward.
When You Know Something Needs to Change, But You're Not Sure How
Maybe you've spent years trying to understand your emotions, relationships, or behaviors. You recognize the patterns that keep showing up, but knowing why something happens hasn't necessarily made it easier to respond differently.
Or perhaps you've been through DBT before, made meaningful progress, and now find yourself needing a little extra support to get back on track.
The Individual DBT Weekend Intensive may be a good fit if you:
Feel stuck in familiar patterns. You recognize behaviors or emotional reactions that aren't serving you, but struggle to change them in the moment.
Experience intense emotions. Anxiety, anger, shame, or rejection sensitivity can make it difficult to think clearly and respond effectively.
Struggle in relationships. Conflict, boundaries, communication, or fears of rejection repeatedly create distress.
Know the skills but struggle to use them. You've learned coping strategies or DBT skills before, but accessing them when emotions run high remains challenging.
Want focused, individualized support. You're looking for dedicated time to work on specific challenges rather than beginning an open-ended course of therapy.
Could benefit from a DBT refresher. You've previously completed DBT treatment and want to strengthen your skills, address new challenges, or reconnect with what you've learned.
A Focused Approach, Built Around You
You don't need to have a borderline personality disorder diagnosis or previous DBT experience to benefit from an intensive.
What matters is having specific goals, a willingness to practice new skills, and clinical needs that are appropriate for focused, short-term treatment.
The intensive isn't designed to resolve every challenge in a single weekend. It's an opportunity to devote meaningful time and attention to the patterns that matter most, with personalized guidance and practical strategies you can continue using long after the weekend ends.
A Different Approach to DBT

Applying DBT Skills in Real Life
Unlike a traditional DBT skills program, the Individual DBT Weekend Intensive isn't designed to teach the entire DBT curriculum in a single weekend. Instead, we'll focus on the specific challenges, patterns, and behaviors that matter most to you. Together we'll identify the DBT skills most relevant to your needs and spend dedicated time learning, practicing, and applying them to real-life situations. The goal isn't to learn every skill, it's to strengthen the skills that can make the greatest difference in your everyday life.

Let's Determine If This Is Right for You:
01— Schedule a Free Consultation
A complimentary 15-minute call allows us to discuss your goals and determine whether an intensive may be an appropriate fit.
02— Complete Your Assessment
If the intensive appears appropriate, we'll schedule a formal clinical assessment approximately two weeks before your preferred weekend.
03— Reserve Your Weekend
Following clinical approval, you'll complete the required paperwork and submit your reservation payment.
An Important Note:
Because the intensive is designed for focused, short-term treatment, it may not be appropriate for everyone. Comprehensive DBT, ongoing psychotherapy, or another level of care may be recommended depending on your clinical needs.

Meet Your DBT Therapist
Hi, I’m Erin!
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Linehan Board Certified DBT therapist. I specialize in helping people navigate intense emotions, challenging relationships, and patterns that can leave them feeling stuck. I believe meaningful change happens when we move beyond simply understanding our struggles and start practicing new ways of responding. That's what I love about DBT, it offers practical tools that can make a real difference in everyday life. Through this intensive, you'll have my undivided attention, a treatment experience tailored specifically to you, and a supportive space to do the work that matters most.
DBT matters to me beyond a therapy session. I struggled with many of the challenges my clients face and also sought help. I completed DBT treatment in my 20s and it not only changed my life, it sent me down a different career path. Holding a Linehan Board Certification in DBT is not only an honor, but a personal milestone.
